At-Need Planning
Our At-Need Division
The At-Need Division is the final journey after death. Our professional Arrangers and Funeral Directors will care for your loved one before, during and after the services. For those who do not have a plan, the selection and type of service will be discussed and selected during these meetings with our Arrangers.
• Basic Services
Preparation begins at the moment your family contacts our Mortuary Division. The Director of the Mortuary obtains information from you regarding your loved one.
• Transportation
Preparation begins at the moment your family contacts our Mortuary Division. The Director of the Mortuary obtains information from you regarding your loved one.
• Basic Services
Preparation for transportation to our Funeral Home is done after obtaining your permission and authorization to pick up the remains.
• Our Professional Arrangers
We will review the plans you pre-arranged and finalize them with your loved ones. If a plan does not exist, the Arranger will assist your family in preparing the services and burial requirements, if any.
• Type of Service
The choice of Traditional Service or Memorial Services with prayers over ashes would be left to the family if there were no plans.
• The Chapel
The choice of where you would like to hold the services, such as one of our funeral home chapels or the church of your faith, or just a graveside service, will be determined.
• A One- or Two-Day Service
The choice to have a Wake Service (at night) or a Traditional Funeral or Memorial Service would need to be decided.
• The Functions Before and After the Funeral
You will need to make decisions concerning the refreshments, luncheon, evening meals, etc. before and after the service. The menus of several catering companies are presented to you, along with a a check list of what to bring.
• Flowers
Some families would prefer to order sprays and wreaths for the ceremony, which can be selected with the help of the Arranger, or you may order it on your own.
• The Burden
You will need to make decisions concerning your loved one and bring other family members that will help in the planning. The financial burden must be completed before any service can be provided.
• For Those Who Qualify
Credit Life Insurance which covers the plan may be initiated to cover the balance of less than $5,000.00.
• Directors of the Mortuary
Two Funeral Directors are assigned to assist the family before, during and after the services. Should this be a casket service, the Funeral Directors will escort your loved one to the church and burial site.
