Theresa Isabella Afungia Obituary

Theresa Isabella Afungia, 81, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away on April 7, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1942 in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.

She is survived by her sons, Alfredo John Nunes, Jeffrey Michael Nunes, Timothy Thomas Nunes, and Brandan Joseph Afungia; brother, Lawrence Manuel Nunes; grandchildren, Isabella Theresa, Liumililatutupurosa Afungia, Heath Allen, Zachery Nunes, Alexis Cozy Nunes, Thomas Michael Nunes, and Shaun Keanu Nunes; 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Wahiawa. Visitation begins at 10:30 am and service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow, 2:00 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
