INOCENSIA 'CYNTHIA' SAO, 85 of Waipahu passed away on May 12, 2018 in Waipahu. She was born in Waipahu, HI. She retired from Hickam Exchange Service after 27 yeas. She was an avid hula dancer and performed for the Emperor and Empress of Japan when Hawaii became a state in 1959.
She is survived by her husband Abelardo 'Steve' Sao; sons Kevin Sao, Irving Sao; daughters Stephanie Woods, Alexis Sao, Scarlet Reardon, Marlo Meadows; great-granddaughter Jodeci Ellis-Javillo; brother Frederico Abordo; sister Josephine Doyle; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:30 pm Sunday June 10, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel followed by wake service at 6:30 pm. Inurnment will be 2:00 pm Thursday June 14, 2018 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (2177 Puowaina Drive Honolulu, HI 96813)
