JAMES "JIMMY" TOSHIHIDE HAYASHI, 83 of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away on July 14, 2019 in Aiea. He was born in Aiea, Hawaii. Retired Nuclear Engineer from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Member of Golden Arm Club wall of fame in Las Vegas. He was also a successful TV Commercial Actor.

He is survived by wife, Verna Hayashi; children, Derrick Ching, Daryl (Niki) Ching, Dana (Louise) Ching, Rhonda (Keith) Masuda, Grant (Jennifer Pakradouni) Ching; sister, Barbara Tanonaka; grandsons, Christian, Chad, Ethan, Cody; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:30 am Thursday September 5, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Makai Chapel followed by Funeral service at 11:00 am.

Casual or aloha attire. No flowers please.
