Miriam Mieko Sakumoto   APRIL 11, 1924 - JUNE 7, 2019 (AGE 95)

Miriam Mieko Sakumoto, 95, of Waialua passed away on June 7, 2019 in Waipahu.  She was the retired owner of Waialua Florist.
She is survived by Daughters Christine Drake and Adele Saaf; Granddaughter Rachel Azima; Great-Grandson Cameron Beal, and Sisters Hazel Shimoda and Sharlene Nakama.  She was predeceased by her beloved Husband, Edward “Buster” Sakumoto.
A Celebration of Life / Memorial Service will be held at Waialua United Church of Christ on Wednesday, July 31:  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 am; Service 11:00 to noon; Luncheon in the Social Hall Noon to 1:30 pm.  Private inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waialua United Church of Christ or Punahou School.
