PROMISE AMELIA LUIKA KAHO'OULULAHUIOKALANI FLORES-IRVINE, 16 of Kapolei passed away on May 7, 2018 in Kpolei. She was born in Honolulu, HI.
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:19
Promise was called to Heaven suddenly and without warning. Words cannot convey the pain we all feel.
In 16 short years, Promise changed our world and all those who came in contact with her. She had a quiet strength and her words carried weight. She was selfless, loving, and believed in serving others. Whether it was being a steadfast friend or travelling to the Philippines to fulfill missionary work in the name of God, Promise made her brief time on Earth impactful. She truly exemplified a life lived for Jesus.
Promise was the first grandchild in the family and therefore, everyone’s baby. Our grief is great and yet we all rejoice that she is in Heaven at the right hand of our Father, with the Holy Spirit. In earning her angel wings so soon in life, she is reunited with loved ones who have passed before. We are comforted knowing she is in Heaven and is not alone or sorrowful.
She is survived by her father John Flores-Irvine, mother Sarina Flores-Irvine, sister Harmony, and brother Reign.
The funeral service will be 5:00 pm Sunday June 3, 2018 at Hawaiian Pentecostal Church of Kalihi.
Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
