William Raymond Garber

WILLIAM "BILL" RAYMOND GARBER, 97 of Kailua, Hawaii, died on August 9, 2019 at his home.  He was born on April 5, 1922 in San Diego, Ca.

William graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1939, retired from Sub Base Pearl Harbor Photography Lab, and was also an Army veteran. He was reunited with his wife Bernice, and infant son William. William is survived by sons, James (Gwendolyn) Garber, Thomas (Lois) Garber, and David (Roberta) Garber. He has 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent care and companionship provided to William, over the last few years, from the caregivers of Castle Personal Care, and GSS-Pohai Nani. In particular, we thank Terry Ahing, and Gene Niblett, for their love and compassion for William in his last year. 

Services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kailua on Wednesday September 11, 2019. Visitation at 8:30 am, Mass at 9:30 am. Burial at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery in Kaneohe at 11:00 am
