Amelia Ramel Lacuesta

Amelia "Ameeh" Ramel Lacuesta was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She gained her wings on October 23, 2023 at the age of 63 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Amelia was born in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya to Francisco and Felicidad Ramel on October 28, 1959.  Together, Amelia had 10 siblings she was very close with and loved dearly. After graduating from Aldersgate college in the Philippines where she met her husband, Mariano Lacuesta.  Together, they have 2 children:  Michelle with son-in-law Chris and Michael with daughter-in-law Mae and 9 grandkids.

This family, her role as mother and grandmother, was the most important thing to Amelia. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family was what she enjoyed most of all. What a wonderful lesson she gave us. Keep your priorities straight. Love and care for your family. Let them know in all the ways you can show them that you love them. She is surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. 

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.  Visitation begins at 10:00 am; and service at 11:45 am.  Burial to follow 12:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
