BULLA A. LEPEN, SR., 72 of Ewa Beach passed away on January 3, 2018 in Aiea. He was born in Honolulu, HI. He was chief Grandmaster Bula Laban of Martial Arts Kajukenbo.

He is survived by his beloved sweetheart Thelma Lepen; sons Jason (Joy) Woody, BJ (Nicolette) Lepen, Eli (Mary Anne) Lepen; daughters Roberta Cortez, Tia (Kenny) Tagavilla, Angel (Ivan) Lepen; brothers Charles (Martha) Newman, Franklyn (Geri) Borling, Pete James, Richard (Valerie) Murton, Randall (Francis) Rio, Richard (Jana) Garcia, George (Stacey) Rio; sisters Susan (Hawyn) Jeremiah, Anita Seals, Ester Pila, Martha (Wilmore) Kamaka, Madeline Agual; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life service will begin at 10:00 am Saturday February 10, 2018 at Salvation Army Kroc Center (91-3257 Kualakai Pkwy, Ewa Beach, HI 96706) with lunch to follow.
