DORINDA ANN (LOPES) VENTURA

Dorinda Ann Ventura, 72, of Mililani, HI passed away on May 28, 2022.  She was born in Wahiawa to parents Adam and Deborah Lopes on August 15, 1949.  She graduated from Leilehua High School and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Kapiolani College.

Dornida retired from the State of Hawaii after over 40 years of workinig as a nurse with special needs children. She was a giving, kind-hearted person and an awesome mom and nana.  She loved to travel, spend time with her family, eat and enjoy life. 

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Cabico; her children, Denise Ventura and Barry Ventura; grandchildren, Dashia, Devin, Bryson, Damien, Keola, Cody, Ayden and EmMarie; great grandchild, Atalina; and brother Alan Lopes.

Inurnment will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Mililani Memorial Park, upper section C-1.
