Garda Chieko Pualani Popa

Garda Chieko Pualani Popa, 80, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on January 18, 2021.  She was born on March 26, 1940 in Hawaii.

She is survived by her children, Lisa (Anthony) Duhaylonsod, Constantino Popa, Jr. and Clarissa (Grant) Lorenzo; grandson, Steven Kaeo Young; sister, Christabelle Puanani Yoshie Burgess; brother, Robert Sniffen; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by daughter, Ursula Young and son, Christopher Popa.

Garda worked as an Accountant at Hickam AFB and also worked at Allied Builders in Hawaii.  She also worked at the Cat Transit Bus Company & Walmart in Las Vegas, NV but mainly she was a Homemaker and loved making crafts, baking and cooking for her family.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:00am and services will start at 10:00am. Inurnment to follow 11:30am at Mililani Memorial Park.
