He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Smith; sons, Albert (Carriann) Yamanouchi, John (Judy) Yamanouchi, Richard (Darcie) Yamanouchi, George Franklin (Lela) Smith IV, daughter, Sherrilyn Etter; brother, Charles (Andrea) Smith; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
