Konomu "Jack" Tomita, 94, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on August 6, 2022 in Honolulu. He was born on October 30, 1927 in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
He served and retired from the U.S. Army, and also retired from Iron Workers and Tripler Army Medical Center (Maintenance Dept.).
Konomu is survived by his wife, Betty Tomita; sons, Eddie Tomita, Jack Tomita, and Dwayne (Sabrina) Tomita; daughters, Evie Perez-Tomita, and Shanna Tomita; step sons, Rodney (Marta) Fao, Ernie (Cindy) Fao, Paul Fao and Dean (Ember) Fao; step daughters, Rejane (Stanley) Hoohuli and Regina (Wendell) Sabarre; 37 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation to begin at 8:30 am; and Service at 10:00 am. Burial to be held 1:00 pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
