It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leonardo Tesoro Alcalde who passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the age of 84 years.

Leonardo was born on November 6, 1935 in Bucay, Abra, Philippines. After completing grade school, Leonardo began working in several jobs in the Philippines. In 1977, Leonardo immigrated to the United States where he began a new life in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Leonardo was a hard working man who worked various jobs as a maintenance worker and dishwasher. He always loved to travel to Las Vegas, watch wrestling and boxing matches, and eat at various buffets, and spend time with his family. Most of all, Leonardo was a man who loved his family and worked to ensure that they live long and happy lives.

Leonardo is survived by his wife, Editha Valdez Alcalde, his son Edileo Valdez Alcalde, his daughter Lodilyn Alcalde Saturnino, and his sister Cristina Alcalde Gabaon.

The funeral service will be at Mililani Memorial Park Mortuary, date is yet to be determined.
