Merle Lee Painter, 83, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1940 in Rome, Georgia.

He is survived by wife, Rachel Bolt Painter; sons, Merle Painter, Jr., and Jerry (Ronnette) Painter; two grandchildren, Keoni Painter and Lahela Painter.

Wake Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm; and service at 6:30 pm. Burial will be held the next day, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 am, Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
