Obituary
Reuben Lanakila Kahoiwai, 43, of Nanakuli, HI passed away on May 7, 2023. He was born on February 21, 1980 in Honolulu, HI.
Reuben was an alumnus of Pearl City High School, graduating in 1998. He was an honest, soft-hearted and deeply caring individual. Although he was quiet, he still spoke his mind. Reuben really enjoyed listening to music, singing, playing the ukulele and flute. He also would have loved to travel the world if he could.
He is survived by father, Norman E. Kahoiwai; mother, Wilma W. Kahoiwai; sisters, Phebe “Nani” H. Kahoiwai, and Rachel L. Kahoiwai; nieces, Amber K.K. Ribuca, Kawena L. Kahoiwai, and Hi’iwai K.K. Holt.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 04, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm, and service at 6:30 pm. Burial to follow 11:00 am Saturday, August 05, 2023 at Mililani Memorial Park.
