Dear Esperedion, Barbara and Marc:
I was saddened to learn of the death of your dear loved one, Michael. It is tragic to lose a loved one regardless of his/her age, but it is especially sad to lose one so young, only 18 years with us!
I am hoping that some thoughts from the Bible will bring you comfort and peace.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die. When He put Adam and Eve in the paradise Garden of Eden, they had endless happy life before them. [Genesis 1:28]. Just because Satan, Adam and Eve messed up does not mean that our Creator has given up on His Purpose. [Isaiah 55:10-11]
Next, the Bible tells us that it is Satan the Devil who causes death, not God! [Hebrews 2:14]
But our Creator, Jehovah, sent his son, Jesus Christ, to ransom us from death and to destroy all the works of our enemy Satan. [1 John 3:8] Remember Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me will live even if he dies." [John 11:25]
So, ... until you are reunited with a totally healthy happy Michael may you have comfort in these promises from our Creator!
