Aaron Keith Bumanglag of Ewa Beach passed away on Saturday August 29,2020 at the age of 65 after a long illness.
Aaron is survived by his wife Barbara Bumanglag, his daughters Leilani Malave, Christina Bumanglag and son Aaron Bumanglag Jr. Aaron had 6 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Rosalina Bumanglag and brother Diano Bumanglag.
Born to parents Edward and Rosalina Bumanglag on January 24, 1955 in Honolulu Hawaii, Aaron grew up as the oldest of 8 siblings, Eddie, Maria,Jesse,Estele,Diano, Michael and Jarvis. He graduated from James Campbell High School in 1972. Aaron married Barbara who was in the United States Navy in 1981, after being stationed in Hawaii, Great Lakes and San Diego, they settled back home in Hawaii with their daughter and son.
Aaron was talented in many things, an avid fisherman, diver, hunter, bone carver. Nothing made him happier than sharing his catch with family and friends. Many close to him are lucky to have one of his handmade bone fishhooks.He was always willing to share his knowledge with anyone willing to learn. Aaron was a wonderful cook, he always looked forward to family gatherings to prepare food for everyone and then sing and play music until the early hours of the morning. His favorite holiday being New Years Eve.
Everyone that knew Aaron said he was always kind,lived up to his word and you could always count on him. His love of his family and friends was never doubted. His laugh will never be forgotten by those that knew him. He is now free of his pain and the Lord has welcomed a wonderful soul.
