Albert Leyendecker, a cherished husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away January 11th, 2024, on the beautiful island of Oahu, HI. Born on August 28, 1971, in Taylor, Texas, Albert's journey through life was marked by his intelligence, thoughtfulness, and loving nature.
His life was enriched by the love and companionship of his devoted wife, Florence Harding, and their daughter, Trinity Taylor Dancel Leyendecker. He was a proud stepfather to Jonathon (and wife Diene) Harding and Nicholas (and wife Alexandria) Harding. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Gavin, Jahziah, Nainoa, Anela, Austen, Aliana, Nakoa, and Taytum, all of whom he adored.
Albert was the beloved son of Leonard Lozano Leyendecker and Olga Leyendecker. Albert's family circle included his older sisters, Eloise Manley and Christine Leyendecker, and his brothers, Leonard Jr. (and wife Cynthia) Leyendecker, Roy (and wife Bonnie) Leyendecker, James (and wife Carmen) Leyendecker, Alexander Leyendecker, Ralph (and wife Erin) Leyendecker, and Eric (and wife Margaret) Leyendecker. Each family member held a special place in his heart.
Albert's journey in life was one marked by dedication and service. He honorably served in the United States Navy for 10 years, a period that instilled in him a profound sense of discipline and commitment. Following his military career, Albert's entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a respected business owner in the Food Industry, where his intelligence and thoughtfulness greatly contributed to his success and the well-being of his clients and employees. He worked alongside his hard-working wife, creating Lola’s Local Grindz.
Outside of work, Albert's zest for life was evident in his varied interests. He was a fun-loving individual who thrived on the joy of spending quality time with his family. Whether it was watching movies, going fishing, or engaging in playful games, he was always at the center of creating memorable experiences for those he loved.
Albert's intelligence shone through in every aspect of his life, from his strategic thinking at work to the wisdom he shared with his family. His thoughtfulness was reflected in his constant consideration for others, always putting their needs and well-being ahead of his own. Above all, Albert's loving nature was his defining characteristic; his deep and unconditional love for his family was the foundation upon which he built his life.
The world is undoubtedly a better place because of Albert Leyendecker. His laughter, kindness, and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
As we bid farewell to Albert, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man who embodied the best of us, and a soul that will forever be remembered with warmth and love. Albert Leyendecker's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
We will be holding a Ceremony of Life on March 26th, 2024, at 9:30am, at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary. Located at Ka Uka Blvd, Waipahu, HI 96797.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service at 10:30 am.
