Alice Chieko Asakura Malunao, age 100, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on September 25, 2022. She was born on March 11, 1922 in Lihue, Kauai.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mariano and her daughter, Audrey Corpuz.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Beauchan (Berry), Kathy Lyons (Wesley), Marie Soga (Clement), and son, Howard Malunao (Daisy), sisters, Jane Kihara, Kay Chezem, Joyce Thom (Lowell), Susan Yanagida (Gerald), and brother, Henry Murata; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
