Alvin Ladao, an esteemed family man, passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on May 25, 1956, in the Philippines, Alvin was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and dedication to his loved ones. He departed this life due to coronary artery disease, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and hard work.
Alvin spent his early years in the Philippines, where he was raised by his loving father and mother , Alfredo and Remedios. He shared his childhood with his favorite siblings, Merle and Fred, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Because his father being in the military, he was able to come to Hawaii to where he grew up and pursue a happy and fulfilling life time with friends and family. He got married and raised a son, Patrick. His wife passed away at an earlier age and Alvin, with the help of his parents, was able to raise his son.
In pursuit of his passion for automobiles, Alvin earned an Associate of Arts in Automotive Technology. He later pursued a career in Sales which led him to a fulfilling career as a Retail Sales Service Associate for the Hawaii Coffee Company. Alvin's colleagues knew him as a reliable and friendly presence, always willing to go the extra mile for customers and coworkers alike.
Bowling was one of Alvin's favorite pastimes. Whether he was rolling strikes or cheering on his teammates, his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Alvin's presence at the bowling alley will be deeply missed, but the stories of his perfect games and cheerful banter will continue to bring smiles to the faces of all who knew him.
Alvin's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his devoted mother, Remedios; his loving siblings, Merle and Fred; and his son, Patrick.
Alvin Ladao's life was a testament to the power of love, perseverance, and community. He will be remembered fondly by all who were touched by his kindness. As we bid farewell to Alvin, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the enduring impact he has made on the world around him.
