Genny
I met Aunty Lina in 2002.  Apparently, her niece, Claire, talked told her about me because when Aunty Lina first saw me, she said, "come here and give me a hug...I'm Aunty Lina!"  I got to know her throughout the years, became a trusted friend. and a facilitator in one particular major argument she had with Yvonne.  When I arrived at the house, I saw some items thrown out in the front yard and some furniture thrown around inside the house. I asked Aunty if she felt better and she said, "yes!" Later, she began to introduced me as her "niece."  One particular visit, while at the Pearl City Nursing Care Facilitates, she had introduced me as her Chinese niece! Claire and I each had a special relationship with Aunty Lina.  We were her constant visitors during her stay at St Francis Hospice and kept Gaynell abreast of what was happening with Aunty during our visits. The week before her passing, she said to me, "you are family!"  Before I left her on the day of her passing, I thank her for making me a niece, told her I love her and gave her a kiss on her head.  Shortly after I left, she took her last breath.  Before her body was released, Claire went to say the rosary one last time in her presence.  Aunty...there is a special place for you in our hearts.  We miss you terribly and "wo men ai nee (we love you)...â¤ï¸
