Asoa Jane Curran Obituary
Asoa "Jane" (Vaefaga) Curran, lovingly know as Aunty Jane, age 76, of Ewa Beach, HI, passed away on May 22, 2024. She was born in Olosega, Manu'a, American Samoa.
Survived by husband Richard Paul Curran, her 5 sons John (Anne) Curran , Robert (Gina) Curran, Richard (Chameka) Curran, James (Dawn) Curran, Joseph (Marie) Curran, and her 6 daughters Rita (Eirwin) Sotelo, Jean (Eric) Yamada, Robin (Denny) Sebala, Jaylene (Sal) Delizo, Jody (Ali) Bantolina, Rosemarie (Raine) Lactaoen, as well as 38 eight grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. Jane is also survived by her brother Plymouth Vaefaga and sisters and Upulelei Wilson and Elsie "Sina" Song.
Jane dedicated her life to her family, friends and the Ewa Beach community. She was known as "Mama Jane" at Anna Miller's where she was employed for over 30+ years. She will be greatly missed for her beautiful ukulele playing and singing and for her "Yeah! Yeah! I like it! at all her grandchildren's games.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Kanana Fou Church, 94-261 Kunia Road, Waipahu, HI 96797
Visitation begins at 5:00 pm and Service 6:30 pm.
Burial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Hawaii State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744
