Audrey Haunani Leslie (Seria) lived a full life, passing away peacefully on August 10, 2020 with her family by her side.
Audrey was born September 17, 1940 in Wailuku, Maui. She later moved to Honolulu, Hawai’i as a young woman and graduated from Maryknoll High School. Soon after, she married Howard Leslie and they lived together in Honolulu for sixty years. Audrey began her career as a Food Service worker. Audrey is survived by her husband, Howard Leslie; her children: Shannon Leslie, Marla (Hughes), Darnelle (Ovitt), Radcliff Leslie and Ian Leslie. She was preceded in death by her son, LaSalle Leslie. Audrey is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Audrey was known for her feisty, yet great sense of humor. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She was a dedicated sports fan and loved to watch sports channels during her spare time, as well as making annual trips to Las Vegas. Any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She will always be remembered as a loving & selfless mother and grandmother with a beautiful kind soul and whose greatest passion was helping others.
