Obituary for Barbara Jean Kuuipo Medeiros
Barbara Jean Kuuipo Medeiros, 78, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, Barbara was known for her unwavering dedication to her community and her love for all animals. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Midori Kepilino.
Barbara served as the Head of Campus Security at Hawaii Baptist Academy, where she was a respected figure, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff alike. Her commitment to service and her compassionate spirit touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her loving niece, Sheryl-Ann "Tita" Salisbury, her nephew, William "Billy Boy" Salisbury, and her devoted caregiver, Desiree Suginaka as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life Services for Barbara Jean are being held on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Friends are asked to visit between 10:00am and 2:00pm at 47-781 Hui Ulili St.; Kaneohe, HI 96744.
