Bartolome Guanzon Bongolan Obituary
Bartolome "Berting" Guanzon Bongolan, 90, of Waipahu, HI, passed away on February 27, 2023. He was born on August 24, 1932 in Dan-Ar Santiago, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
He is survived by wife, Violeta B. Bongolan; sons, Alvin (Tess) Bongolan, Bernard Bongolan, Darnel (Aprilyn) Bongolan, and Euell (Kara) Bongolan; daughter, Carolyn (Jensen) Hanakahi; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm, and service at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held the next day, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Resurrection of the Lord Church (94-1260 Lumikula St., Waipahu, HI). Visitation at 9:30 am, and mass to begin 11:00 am. Burial to follow 1:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park.
