Brian Paul Bauer's Obituary
Brian Paul Bauer, 85, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord.
Born on January 26, 1941, in Bristol, Connecticut, where he was raised, Brian was the beloved son of Frank and Victoria Bauer. He lived a life marked by dedication, patience, dependability, humility, kindness, and resilience. He had a great sense of humor, was easygoing, a good listener, and a loving father, brother, and friend. He was well liked by many.
Brian was drafted into the U.S. Navy at the age of 18 and served during the Vietnam War aboard submarines. Following his honorable discharge, he made his home in Hawaii. He later worked as a power plant operator at the Kahe Power Plant for Hawaiian Electric Company, where he eventually retired.
Outside of work, Brian enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Above all, he cherished his quiet time and the close bond he shared with his only daughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Giron-Bauer; his grandson, Brody Lenchanko; his brothers, Wayne and Bruce Bauer; and his grand dog, Kiana. His family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace with the Lord.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
