Born on December 8, 1943, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
In 1969, Carlina moved to Hawaii in search of new opportunities and a brighter future for her family. Her courage, resilience, and determination became defining qualities throughout her life.
In 1971, she married the love of her life, Rogelio Molina Dollente Sr. Together they built a family grounded in love, faith, and hard work. Carlina took great pride in caring for her family and watching it grow across generations. She was a constant source of guidance, support, and encouragement, always placing the needs of her loved ones before her own.
Carlina dedicated 40 years of service to the Ala Moana Hotel, where she was respected for her strong work ethic, kindness, and commitment. She left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike. After retirement, she cherished time with family and enjoyed visiting the casino, dancing, and singing—simple pleasures that brought her joy and created treasured memories. On the weekend she loved playing the Filipino poker game called PAIUTE.
She enjoyed traveling to her favorite island Maui. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way. She also lovingly remembered a grandchild who preceded her in passing and remained forever in her heart.
Carlina will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm smile, selflessness, and unconditional love. Her wisdom, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her love lives on in the hearts of family and friends. Her memory will be treasured always, and her legacy will endure through the generations she helped shape.
