This weekend we got to say our final good-bye to our beloved mom, my mother in law and grandmother to my children, Carol. We had a blessed memorial service at our church and a scattering of her ashes at her favorite beach to honor her final wishes. We thank God for comforting us with the fact that she is with Him right now as she put her trust in Jesus in 2018 and there is no more pain and suffering for her, but just joy and peace. So grateful to God for holding back the rain in perfect timing for us this weekend and for bringing to us such wonderful family, friends and church family to help us with the service as well as encouraging us, praying for us and supporting us during this difficult time. It’s been hard losing 2 loved ones in one month, but we’re trusting in the Lord as He continues to sustain us. Special thank you to our church family, Leeward Community Church for being such a huge help in putting together the memorial service and lifting up prayers for Carol as she was going through her last days here. We will always be grateful for all the memories we made together with Granny and all the love she had shown us throughout the years. We will miss her laughter, big smiles, generous spirit, learning from her stories and just her sweet presence â¤ï¸ We love you Granny! This is goodbye for now, until we meet again…😘🤗💕
