Carolanne Lovey Chock's Obituary
Carolanne “Lovey” Chock, cherished mother, sister, aunty, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026 at the age of 82 surrounded by the love of her family and the wonderful staff of Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Carolanne was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 19, 1943. She is predeceased by her beloved parents Vivian and William Meyer, Her Husband Solomon Chuckie Chock, Daughter Johnette Serraon and Step Son Solomon Chock Jr. She is survived by her Son William Smith,Step Son Stafford Chock, Step Daughter Paula Chock, Sister Willette Bush (Ronald), Nephew Chris Bush, Granddaughters Nicole Young, Brandi Mahuna (Koa), Jonelle Bush and Bryanna Serraon, along with Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Carolanne worked at First Hawaiian Bank for 3-1/2 - years , Part-time at Germaines Luau 8-1/2 years and retired in 1997 from D.O.E. after 25 years of service. In addition to being an alumni of Sacred Hearts Academy.
Carolanne loved to cook and always made sure no one went home hungry. She loved hula, Elvis, and had the best sense of humor. Her laugh could brighten any room, and she always knew how to make us smile. She was loved by many especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She did everything for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.More than anything, Carolanne will be remembered for her beautiful heart. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel loved, welcomed, and valued. Her kindness was effortless and her love was unconditional. She found joy in creating memories with family and friends, always opening her heart and sharing her happiness with the people she loved.
Carolanne leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories. Her beautiful smile, generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Though she is no longer by our side, her light will forever guide us, and her love will remain with us always.
Celebration of Life Services for Carolanne “Lovey” Chock. Friday October 9th, 2026 from 9am-1pm. Burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Mililani Park and Mortuary (Mauka Chapel). Flowers and Leis are welcomed.
