Catalina Pancipanci Gabinete's Obituary
Catalina “Nenen” Pancipanci Gabinete, 78, of Pearl City, Hawaii was called home to join her Heavenly Father on September 9, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1946, in Davao City, Philippines, to Conrado and Cecilia Pancipanci.
Nenen was a Data Processing Clerk at Bank of Hawaii and retired in 2013 after 20 years of service. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and dedicated her time at Saint Anthony’s Church, where she taught Sunday school, and was a member of the United Visayan Club, Filipino Club, and a part of the church choir.
She is welcomed into God’s Garden by her parents, her husband (Eliseo), her son (Jerson “Sonny”), and her brother (Rey Pancipanci).
She is survived by her two loving children: Janice Aoki & Rhey (Patty) Gabinete; Brothers: Alan, Romeo, Bobby, Ferdinand, Edgar, Arnold (Fe), and Boyet; Sisters: Soco (Lew) Austin, Lou Oguma, Gemma (Quinton) Mills, and Ethel (Terrance) Speights. She is known as Mama to her 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Wake services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 p.m., and the service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments to follow.
Last visitation will be 9:30 am Thursday, November 13, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Church in Kalihi, 640 Puuhale Road, Honolulu, followed by Mass Service at 10:30 am. Light refreshments to follow.
Burial at 1:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
