Chad "ChaddyP" Pasoquen's Obituary
Life of Chad “ChaddyP” Pasoquen
Chad “ChaddyP” Pasoquen, born June 19, 1977, in Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 48. Chad was diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2022. Throughout his battle against cancer, he continued to have a positive attitude and often told everyone, “I’m not giving up.” He did everything his doctor recommended over the 3 years, but the cancer was too aggressive and eventually spread throughout his body. There were complications during his treatments, despite doing everything he could and entering a clinical trial, the cancer responded with full force. In August 2025, he was told the cancer was not responding to any treatments but, in fact, growing rapidly. Throughout his life, Chad was known for his deep love for family, his tireless work ethic, and his big heart. He leaves behind a legacy. He is known to be selfless, humble, independent, hardworking, and, above all, loving. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son.
Early life:
Chad lived his entire life in Wahiawa, Hawaii. He had a passion for cars and spent his early years competing in Autocross. He often bragged about his days when he used to autocross and how he placed in numerous competitions. He grew up working on cars with his dad and brother Jon. He spent 25 years working as a refuse truck operator and thoroughly enjoyed his job. His passion was simply driving. He lived his life “a quarter mile at a time” and believed we should live life to the fullest with no regrets. He did exactly that.
Family life:
Chad was previously married and lost Tammy, his first wife and the mother of Brittany to Cancer in 2016. He remarried in April 2023 to Jamie. After both experienced different heartbreaks, they found love in one another and became inseparable. Chad gained two more children, Rayden-Jay and Skye, and loved them as if they were his own. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, always ensuring that his family had the support and care they needed. His marriage to Jamie was built on mutual respect, humor, and a deep emotional bond.
As a father, Chad was the guiding force in the lives of his children. He taught them the importance of being there for family. His wisdom, patience, and sense of humor were a constant source of comfort and strength for his family. He was the kids' biggest supporter in everything they did, never missing a volleyball game, a wrestling or judo match, a performance, or special recognition they earned over the years.
Grandfatherhood:
Becoming a grandfather was a joy that Chad embraced with warmth and enthusiasm. The day he got the news, he was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to meet his grandchild. On Easter Sunday 2023, Brayztin decided it was time to make his big entrance, and Chad was there to welcome his grandson the next day. Chad was able to babysit during the first year. As Brayztin got older, he enjoyed playing with him and taking him on rides with the remote-controlled truck he got for Brayztin for his first Christmas. His role as a grandfather allowed him to relive the joy of parenting, but with the added benefit of spoiling him a little more. His legacy lives on through the memories he created with him.
Brother, Uncle, & Son:
As a brother, Chad was known for his loyalty and care toward his siblings. He shared a special bond with Michelle, Jon, and Tab. The laughter-filled memories created together will be cherished for a lifetime. As an uncle, he was a source of guidance and affection for his nieces and nephews. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His family admired Chad for his unwavering support for each of them.
Though his passing leaves a void in the hearts of his parents, Chad was a beloved son who always made time to check in on them and help in an instant. His love and respect for his father and mother were evident in everything he did.
His Legacy:
While Chad may no longer be with us, his memory lives on in the countless lives he touched. He was a man who prioritized family above all else, and his love will continue to resonate through the stories we tell, the lessons we pass on, and the memories we cherish. His legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie, children, Brittany (26), Rayden (16), and Skye (15), grandson, Brayztin (2), father, Michael, mother, Sandra, sister, Michelle, two nephews, Akoni and Bronson, three nieces, Brianna, Kobie, and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tabetha “Tab”, and brother, Jonathan “Jon”.
His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
