Cheryl Ann Nobriga's Obituary
My mom was doing many things, but above all, she was strong, compassionate, and fiercely devoted to the people she loved. She spent her life as a nurse< caring for others with a level of kindness and selflessness that defined who she was. She had a natural ability to comfort people in their hardest moments, always putting others before herself without hesitation. She was also a true cowgirl at heart. She grew up in the rodeo and ranch life, surrounded by horses and animals, and carried that spirit with her throughout her life. she was tough, resilient, and unafraid—someone who even boxed at a young age, which perfectly reflects the fighter she always was. More than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Her family was her world, and everything she did was rooted in that love. In the last five months, she showed us all what true strength looks like. She fought through cancer and a stroke with everything she had. She didn't give up—she went down swinging, strong until the very end, just like she lived her entire life. If there's one way to remember her, it's this: she was a fighter, a caregiver, and a woman with a wild, beautiful spirit who loved deeply and lived with strength and heart.
