CLARENCE "MAKA" HOOKALA, 77 of Honolulu, HI, passed away in Waipahu, HI. He was born in Twin Bridge, Waialua, Oahu, HI. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired after 21 years of service for the Army National Guard. He is survived by daughter Chamaigne K. (William) Ralston; son Jeff D. (Mayumi) Richards; brothers James (Sachi) Hookala, Charles (Patsy) Hookala; sisters Annie (Heine) Silva, Juliette (Paul) Hirayama; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Visitation 6:00pm Friday May 12, 2017 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Service 7:00pm. Burial 10:00am Saturday May 13, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
