Unko Clifton was one good surfah I seen pictahs of his boards wen he was working Makaha Inn And Country Club out Westside he would go out of his way to visit family we was in Maili he would always da surfboards I got like tanker mini gun swallow tail had one look like one slippah anyway he wen outta his way for visit family and show love and aloha and respect plus too joy and laughter he brought to us! I remember when Clifton surfed at Hau Bush and Empty Lot, riding the curl, he used Karate-type stance, thus we called him "slice" as he was slicing through the waves!He wa always making us laugh, and enjoyed being with him.We will miss him and always remember those days surfing!Aloha SLICE!
