Courtney Anela Correa's Obituary
Courtney Correa Obituary
Courtney ?Anela Correa, 45, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 1, 1978, to Freeman Correa, Jr., and Gwendolyn Kalani Correa. She is survived by her father, mother, sister Casey Liana Correa Naputi, brother Kyle Freeman Kekoa Correa, and her three children Shayden Makoa Kaleikaumaka Smith, Freeman Nolemana Kala?iakea Keli?iwaiwai?ole, and Fierce Norman Kealokoa Keli?iwaiwai?ole.
?Anela was a pun-loving woman. She had a knack for making people smile with her clever wordplay and witty remarks. She was always ready to lighten the mood with a timely comment or a humorous observation. She never took life too seriously, and always found the joy in every situation. She was our master of puns, our queen of quips, and our jester of jests.
?Anela was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, the best of friends, and a beautiful soul. She was a woman who embraced hardships so others would not. She believed in the potential and goodness of others, and always saw the best in them. She inspired joy, kindness, and forgiveness in everyone she met. She was a light in the darkness, a hope in the despair, and a friend in the loneliness. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a service at 10:30 a.m., followed by her burial at 1:30pm.
