Craig Cañeso-Dela Cruz, 60, took his last breath on Earth and his first breath in Heaven on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Craig was born on July 17,1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Craig was a member of The Way of Salvation Church and served alongside the TWSC kitchen crew. He grew up in Kailua, Hawaii and graduated from Kalaheo High School in 1976. He worked at Hickam Air force Base for 15 years as a painter and last held a position as a custodian at Pearl City High School. He loved fishing, playing softball, basketball, and was a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan. He would often spend time with his wife, going shopping, going to the craft fairs, or going around the island. He never had kids of his own, but was a father figure to his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Craig is survived by his wife, Melody Cañeso-Dela Cruz, his mother, Annie Silva, his siblings, Danette (Allan) Quisano, Stephanie (David) Speidel, Wes Silva, Ben-Jerry (Jamie) Silva, Cory (Eric) Monte, Weniki (Chris) Huntwirk, and his choke nieces and nephews.
Craig's celebration of life will be held on July 27th, 2019 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Viewing begins at 9:30 am; services to start at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples at 2:00 pm.
