Craig Hiroshi Matsuo's Obituary
Craig H. Matsuo, 63, of Honolulu passed away on February 3, 2026 in Honolulu. He is survived by his longtime partner of many years, Margaret Nakakuni; his hānai sons, Brandon (Danielle) Phelps and Darrin (Julie) Phelps; and his beloved hānai grandsons, Hunter Phelps of Kansas City, Missouri, and Ryder Phelps. He is also survived by his siblings sisters: Irene (Tatsuro) Kishimoto, Lorraine (Raymond) Hamamoto, Marlene Matsuo, and brother Wilfred (Ott) Matsuo, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Craig's family and friends will remember him for his warmth, loyalty and the deep care he showed to those closest to him.
No funeral services were held in accordance with his wishes. A private grave site service was held.
