Danella Madeline Lovett's Obituary
Danella Lovett Obituary
"Danella Madeline Lovett, affectionately known as Lela, was born on September 7, 1963, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to her parents, Henry (Hank) and Sigonda (Sigi) Talbert. She was called home by her Creator on May 6, 2025, in Hilo, Hawaii, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. As the youngest of seven, she was cherished by her siblings, Corinna, Allan, Nathan, Denise, Gary, and Sandra. She was a devoted aunt, blessed with 24 nieces and nephews and 53 grandnieces and grandnephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She married her soulmate, Kevin Donald Lovett, who was more than Lela’s husband, he was her best friend, confidante, and faithful companion. Side by side, they built a life full of laughter, kindness, and love. Lela and Kevin were blessed with four children: Kevin Clayton Lovett, Tiana Amerson, Christopher Lovett, and Keala O’Malley, as well as two beloved grandchildren, Tylnee and Kazin Lovett.
Lela was the embodiment of love and compassion, guided by an unwavering moral compass. Her generosity knew no bounds, extending far beyond her family to touch the lives of everyone she encountered. Her life was a living example of the scripture, "Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your lord." (Matthew 25:23).
As we bid farewell to Lela, we celebrate the legacy of a life that reflected Christ's love. Her memory will be cherished, and her light will be kept alive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. While we mourn her loss, we take solace in the knowledge that Lela is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, singing with the angels in Heaven.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the impact of Danella Madeline Lovett’s life continues to ripple through the lives of her beloved family and friends. She will be profoundly missed, but the lessons she imparted and the love she shared will forever be the guiding light for those who walk the path she has blazed. Until we meet again, dear Lela, rest in peace in the glorious Kingdom of God.
Lela’s Celebration of Life will be held at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel on September 7th, 2025, at 11am."
