Democrito Aquino Macaraeg's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Democrito Macaraeg, who entered eternal rest on January 8, 2025, at the age of 77, in Waipahu, Hawaiʻi. He was born on August 1, 1948, in Laoac, Pangasinan, Philippines.
Democrito was a devoted father who worked for many years as a journeyman and public servant, retiring in 2020. He was known for being hard-working, strong, intelligent, and humble, and he lived his life with quiet dedication to his family and community.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia; his children Dennis, Dempsey, Divina, and Demvir Macaraeg; and his cherished grandchildren Angelina, Zyan, Ezekiel, Nainoa, Kaleia, and Kaylani, who were a great blessing and joy in his life.
To honor his life, services will be held on February 20, 2025, at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel.• Viewing: 9:00 a.m.• Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m.• Burial: 11:20 a.m.• Fellowship Meal: 12:00 p.m.
