Dennis M. Abe's Obituary
Dennis Mutsuo Abe, age 78, passed away surrounded by his family on September 4, 2025. Born in Waialua on October 31, 1946 later resided in Mililani. Dennis dedicated many years to service at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, from May 5, 1968 until his retirement on January 3, 2006.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Suk Cha Abe; his children, Colette Mizoguchi (Craig) and Derek Abe (Kanae); stepchildren, Christina Cordell (Willis) and Zachary Fisher; 5 grandchildren; and his siblings, Doris Eguchi (Alvin), Hubert Abe, and Marion Abe.
A private memorial service was held on November 3, 2025, honoring his life and legacy. Dennis will be remembered for his commitment to his family and his long-standing service at the shipyard, marking a significant chapter in his life and the lives of those he worked with.
