My favorite memory of Uncle Dieter was when he was grilling some fantastic steak the night before we were to return to Houston. I told him that the steak was delicious and asked what he seasoned it with. Uncle Dieter showed me a Noh Hawaiian Seasoning Salt (Garlic Herb) and said fajita (Fa-Gee-Ta) seasoning. I asked, do you mean fajita (Fa-He-Ta). He replied no, Fa-Gee-Ta. He so kindly gave me the rest of the NOH seasoning since I love to cook. And from then on, we lovingly referred to him as Uncle FaGeeTa. Uncle Dieter always welcomed us with his wonderful smile and a hug.
