We are deeply saddened to Edna Corniel passing. Our sincere condolences to Ms.Corniel daughter, son and families. Ms.Corniel was the light and sunshine wherever she went. Our first visit to Waikiki Beach 1980, she surprised us with Portuguese Malasada pastries from Lenard's Bakeries! Oh my they were so delicious we were hooked! She was our tour guide for entire island Pineapple Plantation, North Shore ...the PIPELINE surfers, EWA beaches and yearly Ko Olina walks at our Marriott Timeshare! She was always happy and shared many of stories of her life growing up and her mother who loves the color lavender purple and received many leis on her grave near Punchbowl Cemetery. She was always writing and singing the Lords Blessings and love for her children and family. She always brought her ukulele and played musical songs of Hawaii and one was Blue Hawaii by Elvis Presley. We learned of the delicious fruits, juices; passion fruit, guava and many more for our children whenever she visited! She loved her car and was so independent and loved exploring and doing fun times with friends and family. She will truly be missed and Hawaii will never be the same. A white flowering dogwood tree is planted in front of our property in her memory. We will never forget your genuine kindness and love for people and Hawaii. Rest in peace with all of God’s angels and Lord Jesus. Our sincere condolences to all the family.
