Elijah was the most polite and happy spirited young man. Despite his physical challenges, he never complained. To see him was always uplifting. I created an area for him in the library and he spent alot of time in that space. It was Elijah's space, right on the other side of the divider was my desk. He would come into the library every day, full of excitement and share whatever it was he wanted to talk about. Every day was a different conversation. He loved his family and talked often of them.
I'm really sad to have heard of his passing. He was such a bright light. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I loved his visits. Rest in Love ❤️, Ms. Lum (WHS)
