Elsie Tokie Nakasone, 91, of Pearl City, passed away on December 17, 2019 at home. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on November 8, 1928. She is survived by daughter, Lynn Onaga (Dennis) and sons, Lance (Linda) and Layne (Sarah); 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Larry and daughter, Dayle Christian. Active member of the Cactus and Succulent Society for over 40 years and founding member of The Halawa Xeriscape Garden volunteers for more than 20 years. Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Mililani Memorial Park’s Mauka Chapel. Celebration of life will be at 6:00 p.m. Inurnment at Punchbowl Cemetery on Friday, January 31 at 11:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
