Emil Bermudez Obituary
Emil Aday Bermudez passed away on August 16, 2023 in his residence of Ewa Beach, Hawaii surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 20, 1975 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Emiliano and Teodorica Bermudez.
He grew up a block away from the ocean in Ewa Beach where he loved to surf, fish, and camp - anything outdoors he adored. His first job was a paper boy for the Star Bulletin. During high school, he worked at Foodland then later worked at Chevron and an auto body shop where he developed his mechanical skills. He eventually married his high school sweetheart, Rozelyn Bermudez. They had two children together, Joshua and Mason, whom he worked so very hard for to provide for his family.
Emil worked as a journeyman for Steel Frame Home Builders for about 11 years and highly enjoyed his craftsmanship - he loved creating and building. He then took his passion to Lend Lease as a carpenter where he excelled and thrived, eventually being promoted to General Foreman spending 15 years there. His top priority was to provide for his family as he sacrificed day in and day out to give his family a loving life filled with limitless opportunities. He was always known as the Mr. Aloha of every party as everyone he interacted with felt his presence and he was always known for simply living in the present, always trying to joke around, always smiling, and seeing the good in all.
Emil is survived by his wife, Rozelyn, his 2 children, Joshua and Mason, his mother, Teodorica (Catalino), as well as his 3 siblings, Janellie (Trung), Marilyn, and Noel.
