Emma would craft her gourmetHoliday Rum Cakes and wrap them up in time for the Christmas holidayseason, bringing them to her friends at the VIP Terminal, the Station Library,Supply, the Command Building, Post Office, Data Computer Division andthe base operation support administration building. Emma was loved andcelebrated with her team mates aboard Barbers Point during the late 80'sinto the mid 90's while Congress realigned Barbers Point as part of theBase Realignment And Closure (BRAC) defense department restructuring.Emma was a loyal, diligent and caring member of our Barbers Point Team, winning numerous team awards and recognition over the years, as she waswell regarded and respected by her co workers, and the sailors and theirfamilies who also lived and worked aboard Barbers Point.
