Emma Kanoelani Johnasen Aka: Emma Pahio and Emmaline Johnasen 85, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, went home to be with Jesus, peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family, on January 10, 2020. Born in Hilo, Hawaii Island. Raised in, Hoea Camp, kohala. Member of Sure Foundation Puna. Member of Alu Like Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna Pahoa Group. Former member of Thursday Senior Bowling League. Preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Johnasen, Her Father: Joseph Pahio Sr. and Her Mother: Roselia Pahio Sister: Elaine Kahiamoe and Brother: Joseph Pahio Jr. Survived by her sons: Dean (Lina), Dale ‘Bradda’(Joann), Dwayne Daniel ‘Sunshine’ (Kim), Dane ‘Hoku’ (Wendy). Daughter: Derede. Sisters: Elizabeth Lidstone, Loretta Chin, Rosemarie Coen, Stella Kahele, Eva DeCoito. Sisters in-law: Lani Pahio, Dolly Kahele, Theresa Kahele, Abbie Nery. Brothers in-law: Richard (Rachel) Johansen , Joseph Cho. Hanai Children: Adelfa (Merlin) Harber, Alan (Germaine) Kila, Alfred (Raelyn) Yadao, Clifford and Angie Okimoto, Kapena Wong, Randy (Sandy) Fujishiro. 16 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Celebration of Life at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel. Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow
