Eric was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We’ve celebrated many Holidays & New Years Eve’s together with our families; bonded over our love of dogs, especially pit bulls; and most of all we loved watching him being a Dad to Troy & Kaui. He was an amazing Dad that always made time for his boys. He will truly be missed. Heaven gained an Angel for sure.
Eric was a lifelong friend to me and we stayed in touch for 40+ years. We surfed and hung out and we knew each others families really well. Even with me living in Utah and Eric living on O'ahu, we managed to stay in touch and talk about the Niners, the Giants, best surfing spots, and Eric's sons and my daughter. One of my best friends ever. You will most definitely be missed, my friend.
