FAATAUTUI AMATAGA's Obituary
Faatautui, 82, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away on May 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, fierce love, and a radiant smile that touched everyone who knew her.
Born on December 4, 1943, in Pago Pago, American Samoa, Faatautui was the daughter of the late Kasamania Milo and Fa'alevela Milo.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mareko Amataga. She lived a long, beautiful life centered on the joys of motherhood, watching her children grow, marry, and build families of their own. She embraced each new grandchild and great-grandchild with open arms and an overflowing heart.
A truly humble and quiet spirit, Faatautui possessed an unmatched inner strength. She carried the weight of the world on her own shoulders without complaint, yet always found room to love her grandkids fiercely. She had a vibrant spirit and loved a good game of Bingo, binge-watching Korean dramas, and sharing stories with family and friends. But her absolute greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who adored her beyond measure.
As one of her loved ones shared, "I find myself constantly missing her radiant smile and the warmth it brought to my days. I miss our effortless laughter, our shared jokes, and the comfort of looking forward to telling her how my day went."
May she rest peacefully in God's loving embrace, her beautiful smile shining on forever.
